We’ve worked hard on continuously innovating and improving our products, and we’ve made great strides in ensuring our boilers are quieter now than ever before. We’re thrilled to announce that we are now Quiet Mark certified for a number of our boilers. By choosing quieter technology a serene backdrop can be created to rebalance well-being at home, work and in every living space.
How efficient is the Greenstar 8000 Style?
An efficiency rating of 94% makes this an ErP A-rated unit for heating and hot water. Such high levels of efficiency mean that it could help to lower your heating bills.
Is the output rating suitable for my home?
A central heating output rating of 35kW makes this Greenstar 8000 boiler suitable for homes with up to 20 radiators. You also need to think about the domestic hot water (DHW) output rating, which is 43.5 kW and powerful enough to meet the needs of properties with 2 bathrooms.
What other options are available in the Greenstar 8000 range?
For homes that don’t require such a powerful boiler, the Greenstar 8000 Style boiler range also includes outputs of 30 kW, 35 kW and 40 kW, while there’s also a 50 kW unit for larger homes.
If you are looking for a new boiler then you've come to the right place, lets start with the popular combi boiler..
What is a combi Boiler?
A combi (or combination) boiler is an ingenious space-saving idea, and an increasingly popular choice in UK and Bournemouth homes. In fact, combis now account for well over half of all the new domestic boilers installed in Britain every year. Bournemouth, Southbourne, and Christchurch mainly have he Glow Worm combi boilers installed.
A combi boiler is both a high-efficiency water heater and a central heating boiler, combined (hence the name) within one compact unit. Therefore, no separate hot water cylinder is required, offering space saving within the property, and in hard water towns such as Bournemouth, Southbourne, and Christchurch. Further benefits of a combi boiler includes hot water being delivered through your taps or shower at mains pressure. So you can enjoy powerful showering* without the need for a pump.
Another combi boiler benefit is that it can generally save you money on installation time and costs, since no tank in the roof space means less pipe work and a shorter installation time, and as there a lot of flats and apartments in Bournemouth, its a great way to save on heating bills, and people around the Bournemouth, Southbourne, and Christchurch prefer the Glow Worm or the Worcester bosch Boiler.
What is a system Boiler?
With a System boiler, the majority of the components required for generating heating and hot water are built into the boiler. The only external part required is a cylinder or tank that stores hot water, most of the people in Bournemouth, Southbourne, and Christchurch depending on the size of the house also go for this option.
Taking their water supply directly from the mains, System boilers eliminate the need for a tank of water in the loft, that you would need with a Regular boiler. They then heat the water to supply hot water to radiators around your home as well as the hot water tank.
What is a regular Boiler?
Regular boilers, also known as open vent boiler, provide central heating and hot water through a hot water storage cylinder, often found in an airing cupboard, and cold water tank usually found in the loft. They are perfect for homes with multiple bathrooms, as they can provide a lot of hot water at once. we have replaced a lot of the types of boilers as the are not very efficient around the Bournemouth, Southbourne, and Christchurch
